Shirlyn Andersen Jones graduated from Mountain View High School and attended UVU. She and her husband, Jef have been married for 27 years and are the parents of 8 children and grandparents to 3. Shirlyn homeschooled for 25 years and in that time discovered her favorite curriculums and methods for teaching. She was very involved in the community as well. She and her family have lived all over, including Spain, Washington DC, and Missouri, but consider Utah home. She began teaching the 3rd and 4th grades at Liahona in 2014. She believes every child should feel secure, and loved and the learning will follow.
