Brother Tolman served a mission to Veracruz, Mexico, after which he graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Science. While at BYU, he worked for EFY as a counselor and then as an assistant program director. It was here that he met his wife, Tristan, who was an EFY counselor. They have 5 children. Brother Tolman obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Environments from Utah State University and is currently a doctoral candidate pursuing a PhD in leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. He has taught seminary for 26 years. He taught in Fruita Colorado and in Utah at Payson, Lindon, Orem, American Fork, Lehi and Pleasant Grove. He also teaches institute at the Orem Institute at UVU and in Lehi. Brother Tolman loves to travel with his wife and family, eat at restaurants, fish, ride motorcycles, go to theme parks, and spend time playing with his family. As a hobby, he and his wife have written and/or published 18 books. He lives with his family in Highland, Utah.
