Saturday, June 12th:  
Flights arrive into Dulles Airport.  Bro. DG will meet you at the baggage claim area. There may be several flights arriving at the same time and there are 4 terminals, so please be patient. However, if you have waited for longer than 30 minutes, call the above emergency #. Load your luggage into the van and you will be brought to the hotel.
Hotel Info:        The Hampton Inn in Herndon. Address: 435 Herndon Parkway, Herndon, VA 20170 1-703-230-1600. The Hampton has a pool, fitness room, microwave and fridge in each room, 32"tv’s, expanded complimentary breakfast and 80 restaurants within 2 miles. Sister DeGraff will get you checked in and give you the rules to follow until all chaperones are in and we can have a meeting.

Sunday, June 13th:
(Finish breakfast, wear Sunday clothes, bring a change of clothing for Mount Vernon and BE on buses by 8:25 am
8:30a                Leave for Church
9:00a                Sacrament Meeting Only
10:15a              Quietly change clothes in church bathrooms, back on bus promptly, leave for Mount Vernon
11:15a-ish         Visit Mount Vernon. Closes at 5p. Food Court is open till 5:30. You will need to eat lunch here.
12:15p              Meet at the wharf for the Potomac boat cruise. Our boat cruise tickets are for 12:30.
1:15p                You have tickets to tour the Home. The line to get in during the summer can be up to an hour wait. You can see the grounds, the tomb, the movies, and the farm site on a self-guided tour.
5:30p                Leave Mount Vernon for hotel (Please do NOT swim on Sunday)
9:00p                Meeting (place TBA))
10:30p              Everyone in rooms.

Monday, June 14th:
(Finish breakfast and be on buses by8:25 am)
8:30a                Leave for Washington DC - about 1 hour trip
9:45a                We will get dropped off at the Washington Monument to pick up our Tourmobile tickets. We will go see one of the Smithsonians together and then go to the Capital Visitor Center together .
11:40a              Be at the US Capital Visitor Center to go thru Security. (SE corner of 15th and E streets). Refer to the list for what you cannot bring inside.
12:40p              Guided tour through the US Capital. (1 hour)
2:45p                Explore Washington DC with your group. (Some of this will be dictated by when we get Holocaust Museum tickets) Refer to handouts. Tourmobile tickets will take you just about anywhere. Explore the museums first. Most close by 5p. The monuments are open later
5:30p                Load on buses for trip back to hotel. Pick up location will be decided in the previous night’s meeting.
9:00p                Meeting (place TBA)

Tuesday, June 15th:
(Finish breakfast and be on buses by 8:25am)
8:30 a               Leave for Washington DC - about 1 hour trip
9:45a                Explore Washington DC with your group. Refer to handouts. Make sure you have your tourmobile ticket with you. Explore the museums first. Most close by 5p. The monuments are open later.
5:30p                Load on buses for trip back to hotel. Where to meet will be decided in the previous nights meeting.

Wednesday, June 16th:
(Finish breakfast and be on bus by 8:55 am)
9:00a                Leave for Gettysburg (approx. 2 ½ hr drive).Gettysburg was the site of the largest and bloodiest Civil War battle. The Union won the battle. 51,000 soldiers were killed, wounded or captured. Their slogan is “Pennsylvania, where our nation was born...Gettysburg, where our nation was saved.”
11:30a               Arrive Gettysburg. Eat lunch. Be at Visitor Center at 12:50 to load on buses for tour
1:00p                 Battlefield Bus Tour (2 hours)
3:15p                 Visitor Center Film/Diorama (you have tickets for this)
4:00p                 Explore shops, eat dinner
6:00p                 Meeting (place TBA)
7:00p                 Be on buses to return to DC(2 ½ hr drive)
10:30p               Everyone in rooms
11:00p               Lights out
 
Thursday, June 17th:
(Finish breakfast, put your luggage in bus and be on bus by 8:25 am)
8:30a                 Leave for Jamestown/Yorktown (3 hour drive)
11:30a               Arrive Jamestown, grab box lunch (pre-paid) and eat
Noon                 Guided tour of Jamestown (2 hours)
2:05p                 Load on buses to go to Yorktown   
3:00p                 Guided tour of Yorktown and Revolutionary War battleground encampment
5:00p                 Load on buses for Williamsburg. When we arrive, we will check into The Woodlands Hotel.
 Hotel Info: 105 Visitor Center Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23185, 1-800-History or 757-253-2277. The hotel       has a free continental breakfast, shuffleboard, mini-golf, table tennis, and bike rentals.

Friday, June 18th: 
(Finish breakfast by 8:30am, load luggage on bus and walk to meeting place - TBA)
9:00a     Guided tour of Williamsburg (3 hours). After the guided tour, break into your groups to explore. You will need to eat lunch and dinner here. There are some great shops and cafes at the end of Historic Williamsburg. or you can eat in Historic Williamsburg at one of the many unique restaurants. The fife and drum band often marches thru town around 6pm.
5:00p                Final Meeting (place TBA)
6:30p                Load on buses for Washington DC (3 hour drive)

Saturday, June 19th:
Flights Home     Make sure we know your flight schedule. You will be getting to the airport via the hotel shuttle and EVERYONE must vacate the hotel by Noon.
